I have Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 USB headphones and I love them, but it disappointed me a bit they didn't come with an equalizer to adjust sound.
A few months ago I did some searching and found nice equalizer compatible with Vista and 7 (doesn't work on XP, damn it... :[), so I grabbed my Windows 7 computer immediately and downloaded it. Extremely satisfied, works perfectly!
Today I searched again for the equalizer, found it on the same place but the link there was broken, but I was lucky since I still have it here on the hard drive, so I decided to re-upload it for all other users of the same headphones to enjoy :).
